Policies/Hours
HOURS:
Service Hours: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. everyday
**Pampered Paws will not share pet sitting responsibilities
or home care responsibilities with neighbors, family members, friends or other
pet sitting companies. **
Meet-n-Greet:
Prior to scheduling customized service with us, we set a convenient time to meet
with you and your pets. This allows time for us to meet you as well as
your pet(s) and become acquainted with one another, plus answer any questions
or address any concerns you may have. We also will go over our policies/procedures,
your instructions of care, complete our paperwork, and pick up your keys. Should
you not have keys available at the time of our original meet–n–greet
and require us to come a second time to pick up your keys there will be an additional
charge for that.
New Clients:
Please pre print our forms and fill them out completely. Please have the
forms prepared/ready for the meet-n-greet. If you are unable to pre print
the forms, we will bring them with us.
Client Forms:
Dog: Client Bio, Dog Bio, Client Release, Agreement of Services
Cat: Client Bio, Cat Bio, Client Release, Agreement of Services
All Other Pets: Client Bio, Pet Profile, Client Release, Agreement of
Services.
Reservations:
Once we have had a meet–n-greet and acquired your keys, we can add you
onto our schedule. We ask that brand new clients or clients that are not “Ready
Key” clients please allow a minimum of one week advance notice.
Ready Key Clients:
These are clients who allow us to keep their key on file for future use. No
additional charges apply to Ready Key Clients. Those clients who require
their key back will be required to pay an additional fee each time we have to
pick up or drop off their key.
Keys/Codes:
When we come for the meet-n-greet, you will need to provide Pampered Paws with
either two keys, OR one key and an access code. Those of you who choose
to provide an access code - we require at least one key as a backup. Access
codes do not work if the electricity to your home is out and we need an alternate
way to gain access to your home.
Dog Walking:
Dogs are walked in your neighborhood on a leash for approximately 10 – 25
minutes depending on your dog’s age, health, needs. We prefer
you provide your own leash and poopy pick-up bags for us. However, we do
keep our own leashes and bags with us in case you forget to leave them for us.
Your dog must be accustomed to and trained to walk on a leash.
We ask that your dog(s) either have a microchip OR appropriate tags on their
collar/harness. The appropriate tags consist of:
- I.D. tag with name of your
dog and a contact phone number
- Rabies tag
- County I.D. license tag
15 Minute Potty Break Visit:
This is for brand new puppies, dog’s who have just had surgery, or dogs
who are older and can no longer get around as well as they used to.
Mid Day Visits:
These visits mainly apply to dogs but can also apply to other animals if need
be. These visits are for those of you with regular work hours + long commute
times during the week. We come to your home during the day at a time you
set so that your pets needs are met. This includes a potty break
during walk time, exercise time, play time and socialization which are all part
of your pet(s) health and well being. Pets get bored just like people do
and need time out of their crates, time outside, time to relieve themselves,
time to stretch and play, and time for some attention and TLC.
Pampered Paws recommends that your dog has a visit approximately every 5 hours.
If you leave early in the morning and don’t return until 12 hours later;
Pampered Paws recommends two visits a day for your dog. Pampered Paws request
a two hour service window as our schedule changes frequently and we need to be
able to alter our schedule to be most efficient for your pets. This also allows
for emergencies with pets, mess clean up, and traffic delays.
Visits During Inclement Weather:
Visits that are provided during rain or snow will be cut approx. 5 -10 min short
to allow time to wipe down, dry off, and clean up your dog. Also for summer
time temps that exceed 80 degrees, we will cut the walk short to avoid overheating
your dog.
Vacation Visits:
We will provide excellent care for your beloved pet(s) whether you are on vacation,
business travel, or have a family emergency. By choosing a professional
pet sitter, your pet(s) stay at your home where they are most comfortable and
can maintain their usual routine without interruption. You set the times
which your pet(s) is accustomed to. We will feed your pet(s) at their regular
meal time each day. Dogs will be walked at their routine times daily. Other
pets that do not require walk time we still provide a 30 minute visit for those
pets so they can have socialization time and time out of their cages/crates.
** Our policy for dog care for out of town clients is four (4) visits a
day. **
Pampered Paws will not care for dogs that are left outside unattended for
long periods of time. We can provide service for those clients, however,
their dog will be brought in the house and the 4 visit policy would become activated.
Pampered Paws requires all vacation/travel clients to notify our office upon
his/her return home. Our number can be called at anytime of the day or
night as there is voice mail that will be checked.
We will do whatever we can to provide additional care past the expected arrival
time if you are delayed. Additional charges will apply and need to be
paid upon your return home. If you do not arrive home at the set time and
Pampered Paws is unavailable to continue care for your pet(s) due to scheduling
conflicts we will notify the emergency contact you list to take over care for
your pet.
Payment Policy
All payments should be addressed to Miss MacRaild instead of Pampered Paws.

leave payment to be picked up the following day.

in advance will be charged the regular visit fee.
